Hispanic United Fund, United Way, CFC
Through an annual certification process, Children of The Americas is qualified to be a member of the Hispanic United Fund (HUF). HUF is a nonprofit federation that pre-screens and certifies high quality national charities working with the Hispanic/Latino community in the U.S. and around the world. Federated groups like HUF are "umbrella organizations" that are empowered to certify their respective member charities for participation in various workplace payroll deduction fund drives organized and managed by the federal government, various state and municipal governments, local United Ways, and businesses. These drives outreach to more than 10 million employees annually. Through HUF, Children of The Americas participates in United Way and the Combined Federal Campaigns (CFC), a workplace fund drive for federal workers and military personnel.
